967arch and BDG architecture + design have collaborated to unveil the WPP Campus Milano, a cutting-edge hub bringing together 35 WPP agencies and 2,000 professionals under one roof. The Campus aims to foster collaboration and creativity among teams, ultimately benefiting clients.
Historical Context
Situated within the historic district of San Cristoforo, the WPP Milan Campus stands as a testament to urban redevelopment, occupying the site of the former Richard Ginori ceramics and homeware factory. Spanning 27,000 square meters, the Campus embraces the historical and cultural legacy of its location.
Sustainable Revitalization
Designed by BDG architecture + design and executed by local partner 967arch, sustainability lies at the core of the Campus redevelopment. Retaining the site’s existing architectural footprint while enhancing its environmental performance, the project exemplifies a commitment to sustainability.
Integrated Facilities
Previously scattered across nine different locations, the co-located agencies now benefit from state-of-the-art workspaces, social areas, and event venues equipped with cutting-edge technology. Additionally, amenities such as restaurants, a minimarket, ATM, and pharmacy enhance the Campus experience.
Environmental Impact
The WPP Campus Milano prioritizes sustainability through various initiatives. By repurposing an existing structure, the project significantly reduces embodied carbon emissions. Furthermore, the Campus will be plastic-free, minimize paper consumption, utilize LED lighting, and rely entirely on renewable energy sources.
